Sales

Boating is in my blood. It started modestly aboard my grandparents 16ft outboard in NH’s Lakes Region. As a young adult the opportunity to work in the industry presented itself during a stint in the Pacific Northwest. After working on the water and earning a CG Captains License, I longed for more.

A story I like to tell is when I packed my bike and panniers into a box for a one-way flight from Seattle to Ft Lauderdale. I reassembled the bike in the airport and peddled into town not knowing anyone. Within a week I was hired aboard a 100’ Motor Yacht heading towards the Caribbean. From there the adventure continued as I logged time underway from Maine thru the Bahamas and the Caribbean as far south as Grenada.

I completed a trip around “the Great Loop” running up the Rivers, across the Great Lakes and back down the Intercoastal Waterway. I threw in a trip to SE Alaska just for good measure. During those years I had the opportunity to operate a wide variety of vessels in many different ports.

My fascination for being on the water has never changed however my lifestyle certainly has. I was keen on a young lady from NH, Sylvia and I married and soon our son Morgan arrived.

The following decades found me in boat sales and marina management at the oldest and largest Marina in NH.

In 2002 I approached Eastern Boats to build me a USCG Certified, 26 passenger tour boat for a small business I owned. We agreed I would act as the liaison between the Coast Guard and the Builder, a role that had me in the shop every other week. I got to know the players and we stayed in touch over the years. Time passed however when the door opened with an opportunity to join the team, I walked thru it.

Today I work in the shop and on the boat show circuit meeting boaters and talking about what we can do. I try to better understand how they plan on using the new vessel and work together to make it a reality. Please feel free to give me a call. We would love to build you a boat!

Cheryl Randall

Office Manager

An essential member of our team since 2011, Cheryl oversees all of our office and accounting business. Her passion for success shows in all that she does.

When not answering the phone or keeping the team organized Cheryl enjoys time with her grandchildren and time outside with her husband and their dog Spice. She also has a passion for antique cars.

Thanks to my mom’s love of the water and my dad’s passion for boats and motors, I have been in, on or under the water since I was knee high to a ripple.

I was extremely blessed to spend most of my summers on Mascoma lake, fishing sailing and waterskiing. I have watched my kids develop a love for the lake and this year will be watching my grandchildren start their relationship with the water.

When I was in college, I rowed crew for 4 years 2 years on the Charles River, in Boston and two on the Oyster River, In Durham NH.  Besides the tremendous work out and competition a big part of the attraction was just ‘being on the water’. While at UNH working on a degree in Environmental Science I started to spend more time on the saltwater and expanded my interest into striper fishing and aquaculture ( raising oysters).

I had such a good experience at UNH that I went back to get my Master's Degree in Business Administration and spent some time teaching Financial Accounting at the University.  From there I spent 25 plus years in the natural gas and electric industry selling kilowatts and BTU’s, but continued to keep at least one foot in a boat or in a stream, fly fishing.  When Greg mentioned the opportunity join the team and sell boats for Eastern, I did not hesitate to requested permission to ‘come aboard’. I look forward to speaking with you and helping you build the boat of your dreams.

‘See you on the water’
