To get to the water and out on your Eastern safely be sure to do an inspection of your trailer, looking carefully for cracks in the sidewalls of the tires from exposure to the elements. Check the tire pressure on all tires, including the spare. Take the time to inspect the trailer bearings as well, making sure they do not rumble or not turn easily. Repacking or replacing the bearings before you head out can save you from doing the work on the road. Look over and check that all lights are functioning properly and be sure chains and connections are in good condition.
